An Ontario man who was alleged to be transporting 71 kilograms of cocaine through Monroe earlier this summer was arraigned in circuit court Friday, Sept. 12.

Baldeep Singh and his lawyer, Sanford Schulman, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance, and a pretrial date was set for Oct. 10.
