“Wizard of Oz at Sphere,” an interactive experience that makes customers feel like they’re in the 1939 classic film of the same name, is on pace to top $1 billion in profit since it opened to the public in late August, according to the Sept. 4 report by Wolfe Research.
The attraction utilizes AI technology and a 160,000-square-foot screen to transport audiences to the magical land of Oz, using sight, smell and touch. The AI fills parts of the arena's screens that otherwise would’ve been left blank by the original movie’s smaller frames, creating a completely immersive experience.
