After years of declining numbers and controversy, New College of Florida says it has enrolled more than 900 students this fall — the largest headcount in its history.
The Sarasota campus credits its growth to three straight years of 300-plus new students, a stronger academic profile, and expansion in athletics and graduate programs.
Vice Provost David Rancourt called it “the rebirth of New College,” saying the milestone shows the school has been “rebuilt in record time.”
