The Downtown Harmonies music festival returns to Statesville next weekend as the American Renaissance School hopes the acts it has lined up — headlined by nationally recognized family bluegrass band The Biscuit Eaters — bring the town together while raising money for the school.
"We work with a wide variety of people in the community, and we want them all to be able to participate." Jim Duffey said while explaining the event's appeal. He is the Executive Director of American Renaissance School. "We've got five bands that'll be playing, and each of them comes from unique genres so that there's a little something for everybody."
Along with the Biscuit Eaters, there will be the Magnolia Fire, Darrius Hopkins & CDL Ensemble, Untethered Soul, and Kory Struther, though the lineup is subject to
