Hall and Mendota will meet on the gridiron for the 83rd time in 108 years Friday night on the Trojans’ turf.

They first played more than a century ago with records showing a 27-7 Mendota victory in 1917.

Hall joined Mendota in the now defunct NCIC in 1942, the start of a reunion lasting into the next century. The teams did not meet from 2011-2019 followin the breakup of the NCIC with Hall joining the Three Rivers Conference and the Trojans the Big Northern Conference after each had a short run in the West Central Conference.

They renewed acquaintances in 2021 when Mendota joined the Three Rivers, a game that the Trojans won 43-34.

According to BCR records, the Red Devils hold a 43-39 series edge in 82 meetings, winners of the last three.
