ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - A suspect has been charged in a string of crimes in St. Louis County.
Devin Marcee, 25, is charged with 15 counts of second-degree burglary, three counts of second-degree attempted burglary, one count of first-degree property damage to a teller machine, one count of attempted stealing of a motor vehicle and one count of second-degree attempted tampering with a motor vehicle. His cash-only bond was set at $250,000.
St. Louis County police said Marcee stole two cars and committed multiple burglaries between Aug. 17 and Aug. 29. The suspect would smash the glass doors of businesses, then go inside and steal items or pull at the register drawers for money.
The crimes occurred on Telegraph Road, Bayless Avenue, McKenzie Road, Lemay Ferry Road and Watson Road
