THE college football game between Missouri and Louisiana has a new kickoff time.

The Week 3 matchup's game time has abruptly changed due to potential extreme weather conditions.

The No. 25 Missouri squad and the Louisiana team were originally scheduled to play at 3:00 pm CT on Saturday.

But the college football matchup will now kick off at noon, Mizzou announced.

The school made the change due to heat concerns in the Columbia area and "after consultation with the National Weather Service and our public safety partners," the release read.

Multiple weather outlets project the Columbia area to be around 96-97 degrees around the original time.

At noon, forecasts predict the weather to be close to 90-91 degrees.
