Pinstripes , the restaurant chain featuring bowling and bocce, has filed for bankruptcy and subsequently closed 10 of its stores.
The entertainment venue based in the midwest has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Court documents filed this week state that Pinstripes has amassed about $258 million in debt with only around $163 million in assets.
“We know the past week has been difficult, and we thank you for your patience and support as we move through this transition,” the company said in a statement posted to Instagram.
They also specified that eight locations will remain open: San Mateo, California; Northbrook, Illinois; Oak Brook, Illinois; South Barrington, Illinois; Bethesda, Maryland; Cleveland, Ohio; Edina, Minnesota; Georgetown, D.C.
