LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A University of Kentucky employee is on administrative leave after making what officials have called an "insensitive" comment regarding the assasination of Charlie Kirk.
A comment Brad Van Hook reportedly made on a news story reporting that the conservative influencer had been shot while speaking at an event in Utah went viral following Kirk's death. The post shows Van Hook paraphrasing a quote from famous trial attorney, Clarence Darrow, which stated, “I have never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great satisfaction.”
Jay Blanton, spokesperson for the University of Kentucky, told FOX 56 that Van Hook is the manager of the school's key shop.
