After only two games, the Colorado State football team is on the first of two scheduled bye weeks during the 2025 season, and the Rams have used the time to reset and evaluate personnel.

The Rams are coming off a come-from-behind victory over FCS Northern Colorado last Saturday, a game they were heavily favored in but yet had to score a late fourth-quarter touchdown and survive a last-second replay review to claim a 21-17 win.

CSU head coach Jay Norvell was critical of his team following the loss, especially quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, which has prompted Norvell to keep all options open regarding that position.
