The Lyndoch Hotel has been part of the Barossa story for generations, but it is about to reveal a new look that promises to breathe fresh energy into the local favourite. The familiar green façade is on its way out, making room for a lighter, brighter palette that balances modern touches with the building’s long-held character.

For co-director Sandy Lyons, who took over the leasehold almost a year ago, the timing felt right.

“The repaint was due, so we thought it was the perfect chance to refresh things,” she says.

“We wanted a softer, fresher look, but we didn’t want to lose what makes the hotel special. People have memories tied to this place, and we wanted to respect that.”
