A multi-agency law enforcement operation at a Decatur hotel led to the arrest of four individuals with connections to a major drug syndicate.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, three of the four offenders are being held on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainers.
The department posted about the weeks-long investigation that resulted in the seizure of 24.7 pounds of methamphetamine.
"On September 7th, 2025, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit, North Alabama Drug Task Force, and Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force - Region F, conducted a narcotics operation at a hotel near Beltline Rd and 6th Ave in Decatur," the post said.
