JEFFERSONTOWN, Ky. —

After nearly a week of events, the Gaslight Festival Weekend officially kicks off Friday night.

Downtown Jeffersontown will be filled with roughly 350 vendors selling food, drinks and goods.

"It's just a wonderful, wonderful weekend," Brad Carson, JTown Hardware, said.

It's a wonderful weekend for people to shop, eat and explore. It's also a time for businesses to see old faces and meet some new ones.

"Most of our businesses tell me that they do 95% of their business on this weekend for the whole year," Jeffersontown Mayor Carol Pike said.

This will be Commonwealth Candle's second year participating in the Festival. Last year marked their first year and their introduction to the community.
