Fueled by new tuition incentives and cost-saving programs, West Texas A&M University enrolled 9,257 students this fall, a gain of more than 2% over 2024’s total of 9,055 and a signal of growing demand for a WT degree, university figures show.
Undergraduate enrollment rose 3.29%, marking one of the university’s strongest year-over-year increases in recent years.
“This welcome increase in our enrollment is the result of the dedicated work of everyone on campus, not just in our enrollment management offices but among every faculty and staff member,” WT President Walter V. Wendler said. “We are constantly striving for excellence in everything we do, and this significant increase in students shows that our efforts are paying off.”
