KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Kinston police arrested a woman after they say she sprayed people at two grocery stores and then led them on a slow-speed chase.

Yesterday afternoon, officers were called to Walmart and Piggly Wiggly on North Herritage Street when a woman sprayed people with an unknown liquid.

According to police, 53-year-old Charice Harris was found sitting in her RV at Piggly Wiggly. She drove away after refusing verbal orders, and a slow-speed chase started, ending on the 200 block of East Shine Street. Officers forced their way into her RV, then arrested Harris.

She is held at the Lenoir County Jail and charged with felony flee to elude arrest, resisting a public officer, and multiple motor vehicle violations.
