There’s a good chance San Diego knows Montana State’s offense better than any team on the Bobcats’ schedule this football season.

Brandon Moore spent seven seasons at Colorado School of Mines, serving as the defensive coordinator from 2018-21 and the head coach in 2022. MSU first-year offensive coordinator Pete Sterbick came to Mines from Montana Tech in 2019 and was promoted from OC to head coach in 2023, when Moore became the head coach at San Diego.

Moore and Sterbick will grace the same field again at 1 p.m. Saturday, when the No. 4-ranked Cats (0-2) will face San Diego (1-1) at Bobcat Stadium.
