Comedy Central has pulled an episode of “South Park” after the shooting of Charlie Kirk , according to Variety.
The second episode of the popular series’ 27th season, “Got a Nut,” featured main character Eric Cartman parodying Kirk’s mannerisms and appearance and also starting his own college debate podcast.
The network removed the episode from its rerun lineup, though the episode remains available to stream on Paramount+. It originally aired on Aug. 6.
When the episode first aired, Kirk himself called the episode “hilarious” in a TikTok video posted Aug. 7.
“We need to have a good spirit about being made fun of,” he said in the video.
Kirk even changed the profile picture on his TikTok account to that of Cartman, which remained on the profile as of Friday afternoon.
