Rutgers wants to make sure there’s no problem with Norfolk State. Sure, there will be two teams lined up Saturday, but the Scarlet Knights have an advantage in nearly every facet — from funding to talent — against its opponent from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

It begs the question: With the evolution of college football evolving by the minute, how much longer will Power 4 teams benefit from scheduling opponents with drastically less resources.
