Amari Worsham drives Richard Wilson crazy. Make no mistake about that.

But for all the ways the William Fleming High School girls basketball player irks her head coach, she is without a doubt a prolific athlete on the court, one who has displayed Division I potential since the sixth grade.

“She always had the confidence, for sure,” Wilson said. “She always had the confidence, the drive, the work ethic, and you could just see each year her game get better, and then once she had that growth spurt, I was like yeah, she could play at that level.”

That D-I potential was evident when offers started pouring in, and it was reached Sunday evening when Worsham announced her commitment to Liberty University.
