GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The 13th Circuit Solicitor’s Office reports a Greenville man was convicted of murder after a victim was shot in his vehicle.

Evidence revealed 24-year-old Bralen Elijah Barksdale shot and killed Nijel Sullivan, as he sat in his vehicle in the parking lot of Inn Town Suites on Mauldin Road in Greenville.

Barksdale fired a .45 caliber handgun twelve times while standing outside of Sullivan’s vehicle as he attempted to drive away to safety. Barksdale then fled the scene and discarded his handgun and cell phone, according to evidence presented during the trial.
