FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne teenager was found guilty of murder Friday for the 2022 homicide of a 16-year-old girl.

A jury in Allen Superior Court found Raymond Washington III - now 18 - guilty of murder, robbery resulting in serious injury, and using a firearm in the commission of the offense.

On July 6, 2022, Le’Brishia Hobbs was found in her backyard about eight hours after being shot in the head, and the wounds left her in a coma for about a month before she died.

Washington was 15 years old when he was accused in the murder alongside two other teenagers, Elaysha Underwood and Jalayah Brown.
