The Webb City softball team made an early statement, plating five runs in the bottom of the first inning en route to a 12-2 win Thursday over the Carl Junction Bulldogs at Webb City High School.

Kylie Spencer accounted for the Bulldogs’ only runs with a two-run homer in the top of the second that pulled Carl Junction closer, at 5-2. ×
