WASHINGTON — About 110,000 Paris Hilton-branded mini beauty fridges have been recalled due to fire and burn hazards, federal safety officials announced.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the fridges' electrical switches can short circuit, causing them to overheat and catch fire. The agency has received 27 reports of the fridges overheating and catching fire, which caused property damage to the units and surrounding surfaces. No injuries have been reported.

The recall involves 4-liter and 10-liter "Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridge" models sold in pink, white, aqua and hot pink. Only units manufactured before August 2024 with specific serial numbers are affected. The fridges were sold at Walmart, Ross and online at Walmart.com and Amazon.com from November 2022 to July 202
