CLEVELAND (WJW) - U.S. Marshals arrested the suspect in a Cleveland shooting that left one man dead and another injured earlier this summer.
The shooting happened in the 1300 block of E. 117th Street on June 20. When Cleveland officers arrived on the scene, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were taken to University Hospitals. One of the victims, 55-year-old Lavelle Scales, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim, also 55, suffered non-life-threatening injuries to the abdomen.
Through the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as 43-year-old Verdine Glover. He was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder and felonious assault.
