LANCASTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Rock Hill man accused of killing another man at a South Carolina speedway in 2022 was convicted and sentenced to 35 years in prison Friday.
The S.C. Sixth Circuit Solicitor's Office announced the sentencing for 40-year Bryan Terell Mitchell following a four-day trial this week. The court gave the jury the option of a conviction for murder or voluntary manslaughter. Shortly after 2 p.m., they returned a guilty verdict on charges of murder and possession of firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
