Syracuse.com — Syracuse (1-1) will be without three starters Friday as it hosts FCS Colgate (0-2).

As announced Wednesday, sophomore running back Yasin Willis and senior safety Devin Grant are inactive. Grant missed last week’s game against UConn while Willis is a new addition to the injury report.

Grant did, like last week, participate in pregame warmups.

Sophomore running back Malachi James is also inactive, leaving four running backs available for the Orange.

Freshman wide receiver Darius Johnson remains inactive with a fractured right fibula. However, he is no longer using a scooter and is now limited to just a walking boot.
