LINCOLN, Neb. —
Watching Mike Ekeler coach in 2008 makes you wonder what kind of a player he was.
"I was a bad athlete. I'm not going to tell those guys that. I had a lot of fun. I Set an NCAA record for having the most fun of anybody to ever play the game," Ekeler said.
As a four-year letterman at Kansas State, Ekeler was known as a fiery competitor, and not much had changed when he started coaching for Nebraska.
