COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) -

A tropical wave moves off the west coast of Africa. The convection associated with the system is disorganized but showing some signs of weak development. There is a 40% chance of development in the next seven days. In the short term, dry air will limit development, but a tropical depression could form sometime next week. The current movement is to the west-northwest at 10-15mph.
