How Heritage Hall's Spencer Trice became national champion wakeboarder

When the Trice family got a boat several years ago, for Christmas that year they gifted their kids all sorts of water toys: skis, an intertube and a wakeboard — the latter of which Spencer Trice , then 7 or 8 years old, took to immediately.

“He loved it back there,” Spencer’s dad, Jason Trice, said. “We just kept going and going.”
