Rain is badly needed, as the majority of the state is in a drought, with some areas seeing severe or extreme drought conditions .

After overnight lows drop into the 40s and low 50s, expect some patchy fog by sunrise.

The air will feel quite pleasant and we'll see partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid-70s.

There is an isolated chance for a brief shower, but most areas will not see rain.
