BOSCOBEL, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southwest Wisconsin say there is no threat to Boscobel Schools after a social media post raised concerns in the community.
According to the Boscobel Police Department, officers were notified on Sept. 11 about an anonymous Facebook post that circulated online and suggested a possible safety issue. After investigating, police identified both the person who made the post and the juvenile who was said to have made the threats.
Officials determined the threats were not directed at Boscobel Schools, were not recent, and had actually been investigated about 16 months ago by law enforcement, school officials, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Police conducted a new threat assessment of the student and concluded they do not pose a substantive
