BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — If there's one name that's synonymous with Bristol Motor Speedway, it's Dale Earnhardt Jr. The races at the Last Great Coliseum bring a mix of excitement and nostalgia for the racing legend who grew up around the track personally and professionally.

"The Bristol night race was, was always easily at the top of the list of like, oh, man, I hope that's what I get to, I get to get to," Earnhardt said. "And more often than not, I got to come to this race and see dad race and watch him run the old Busch cars as Chevy's celebrity in the 80s.

Earnhardt said Bristol has changed over the years, "but it's still got that same vibe and same electric feel."
