(NewsNation) — Actress Kelly Bishop, known for her role in "Gilmore Girls," sat down with "Morning in America" to discuss her new book, “The Third Gilmore Girl,” which offers an inside look at her time on the show and shares personal and professional stories.

The Tony Award winner expressed how much she loved working on the show, praising the writers and cast.

Bishop played matriarch Emily Gilmore on the series, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
