Not all Week 1 losses are created equal, and some teams, players and coaches around the NFL are facing more pressure as a result of their early-season defeats than others. So with that in mind, let's take a look at four players and coaches who are under the most pressure to perform going into Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.

Mike McDaniel, head coach, Miami Dolphins

There might not be a head coaching seat hotter right now than the one McDaniel is sitting on in Miami. Not only have the Dolphins regressed into sustained mediocrity under his watch, but they were also absolutely humiliated in Week 1 with one of the worst performances across the league.

This should be a playoff-or-bust season in Miami, and nothing about that team looks playoff quality going into Week 2.
