Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford confirmed Friday that the human remains discovered on Sept. 11, in the 100 block of Shakespeare Lane are those of 56 year-old Angela Fuller, who was reported missing two weeks ago.

“This is not the outcome we would want for any family who has a missing loved one in our community. The confirmation of Ms. Fuller’s identity brings both clarity and heartbreak for the family,” said Coroner Rutherford.

Fuller had been the subject of an all out search by the Columbia Police Department (CPD) since her family reported her missing on Aug. 29.
