Salvation Army of Charlottesville changing lives one meal at a time

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- With the rising cost of groceries and growing food insecurity, the Salvation Army in Charlottesville is making sure anyone who comes through its doors gets a hot meal.

Charlottesville Mayor Juandiego Wade is one of the many volunteers helping out at the Salvation Army’s Soup Kitchen, which serves between 80 and 100 people each night.
