Police are appealing to the public for information following an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage girl at a Calgary CTrain station on Friday afternoon.
According to a witness report, the incident occurred around 2:20 p.m. when a group of teenage girls exited a train at Shawnessy station.
It is alleged that a man approached one of the girls and touched her in a sexual manner without her consent.
Police say the suspect has been identified, but investigators have not yet been able to locate the victim to get a formal report.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist the investigation is asked to come forward.
