The Methuen Rangers will travel to face the North Andover Scarlet Knights on Friday night in a Massachusetts high school football showdown.

The Rangers are coming off an 18-13 home win over Marshfield in last week’s season opener. Friday’s game is the season opener for the Scarlet Knights.

Methuen defeated North Andover 53-22 in last year’s meeting.

Opening kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday, September 12, with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network .
