Pick-sixes for 81 and 99 yards carried Napoleon to its first win over Clay since 2023, with the visiting Wildcats picking up a 23-15 Northern Lakes League cross-divisional victory Friday.

Senior defensive lineman Quinten Maynard and senior defensive back Paul Sausser had the defensive touchdowns for the Wildcats, and senior running back George Eggers had a seven-yard score in the fourth quarter. Senior place-kicker Jack Mowery also kicked a 31-yard field goal.

Sophomore quarterback Landon Echelberry threw for 136 yards and a touchdown in the first half for Clay. The Eagles scored in the second quarter on a 27-yard touchdown pass from Echelberry to senior wide receiver Carter Waldenzak and in the fourth quarter on a two-yard run by senior running back Collin Greenawalt.
