ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuqeurque police are investigating two fatal crashes. The first happened around 9 p.m. on September 11 at the intersection of Montgomery Blvd. and Jefferson St. APD said a preliminary investigation showed a Kia Sportage headed west on Montgomery tried to head through Jefferson St. That's when a Scion Tc headed east on Montgomery tried to turn left to go north on Jefferson. The two vehicles t-boned.

The driver of the Kia Shortage is in stable condition. The driver of the Scion Tc died on scene.

On September 12, around 1 a.m., a white Hyundai Elantra was headed northbound on Eubank Blvd. and tried to pass through Spain Rd. A Toyota Camry headed westbound on Spain tried to pass through Eubank, and the two vehicles collided. The driver of the Camry died on scene.
