PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A person was hurt in an early morning shooting at apartments in southeast Portland on Friday, according to police.
Just before 6 a.m., police responded to a disturbance and a shooting at an apartment complex on Southeast 17th and McLoughlin, but any suspects had fled by the time officers arrived.
According to police, a person hurt in the shooting was driven away from the apartments by a friend and dropped off in the area of Southeast Powell and 10th, about a mile and a half away from the scene.
Police found the victim and called for an ambulance to take them to the hospital, where they are expected to recover.
