SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR) -- Syracuse Orange football has a vast fan base, spanning across many generations.

90-year-old Lou Ragonese's love for his alma mater runs deep; he has supported Syracuse University's team since 1942, long before the Dome was resurrected.

"Except for the three years I was in the Air Force, I've been coming to games for, 70 years," Ragonese said.

What keeps him coming back after many years is actually quite simple.

"Well, it's fun," he said. "It's fun to watch!"

As a father of seven children and several grandchildren, Ragonese has been able to pass Orange traditions on for generations.

"We've had season tickets, on and off, for many years," he said.
