WEBB CITY, Mo. — A change at quarterback proved fruitful for the Webb City Cardinals as they posted a 49-21 Central Ozark Conference win over the Kickapoo Chiefs Friday night at Cardinal Stadium.

Senior Braden Strickland got his first start at quarterback for the Cardinals and made the most of it, completing five of his eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown through the air. Strickland also rushed for 33 yards and a score. ×
