Kawhi Leonard has been a cornerstone of the Los Angeles Clippers since his arrival in 2019. However, a recent revelation has put his tenure under scrutiny.

Journalist Pablo Torre alleged that Leonard was paid $28 million for a “no-show” endorsement agreement. The deal was tied to a financial firm called Aspiration, which has since gone bankrupt.

Unexpectedly, ESPN analyst Channing Frye sided with Leonard and the Clippers. Speaking on the Road Trippin’ podcast, Frye strongly criticized Torre for exposing the matter.
