BATAVIA — Pilot and Clarence resident Steven Favale has earned the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award, a recognition from the Federal Aviation Administration to commemorate 50 or more years of safe flying.

The award was presented Aug. 30 during the Wings Over Batavia air show.
