A Coventry parent whose paperboy son is being made redundant by Morrisons has hit out at the supermarket giant. The boy received a letter informing him his position was at risk earlier this week.
Adding salt to the wound, the letter explained that due to the fact he is aged below 16 he is 'not eligible to receive any redundancy pay'. As previously reported, Morrisons has confirmed it is scrapping its newspaper delivery service in Coventry due to the number of people who have a paper delivered falling.
