UPPER CHICHESTER — Chichester entered its Friday night showdown against Williamstown with an unblemished record. But a series of mistakes, physical and mental, saddled the Eagles with a 28-13 defeat to the Braves.
For Chichester coach Chris Craig, it was a tough one to stomach.
“It’s beyond frustrating,” Craig said. “We let one go and beat ourselves tonight. Williamstown is a tough team, they play hard, and they’re well coached. Credit to their coaches for having them ready to go. That is a really good football team. We’ll have to learn from this, go back, and fix our mistakes. But it stinks when you beat yourself.”
