ST. CLAIR SHORES – It wasn’t the prettiest football game, but Roseville will take the final result and get ready for next week.
The Panthers battled through many key penalties, but still opened Macomb Area Conference White Division play with a 32-7 win over host St. Clair Shores Lakeview on Friday night.
“We had four touchdowns taken back and that was unfortunate,” Roseville coach Vernard Snowden said. “It is what it is. We’ll clean some things up and we’ll be alright.
“The kids played physical, disciplined and they played hard,” Snowden added. “We’re very inexperienced, but today I was happy with what we did offensively and defensively.”
