Labour’s big pitch to voters before last summer’s election was that they were the party of fairness. The party of the many, not the few. The party of renters and homeowners, not landlords and investors.

But how can they be serious about being the party of renters’ rights, when landlords within The Labour Party keep being caught doing the very things the Labour Government are trying to stamp out?
