PITTSBURGH -- New Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jabrill Peppers will admit his time in New England didn’t end on his terms, but he is equally excited for a new role in Pittsburgh.
Peppers chose the Steelers over multiple other teams, and now will have a chance to push for a starting role over the next few weeks. Between the team’s tradition and Mike Tomlin, Peppers says there was no way he could say no to the Steelers.
“It’s certainly a great place, it’s always been a great defense here. Always been great continuity at the head coaching position. Great tradition. So it was a no brainer for me,” Peppers said.
